Starlink Aviation was founded in 1981 as Avionair. From a small airplane charter company operating light twin-engine aircraft out of a 5,000 sq. ft. hangar, we have become a thriving business in an 88,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility—and one of Canada’s premium private jet charter companies.
Starlink Aviation milestones:
1999 – Launch of our Managed Aircraft Program
2000 – Expansion of our hangar and head office space
2002 – Avionair rebranded Starlink Aviation
2003 – Launch of our Corporate Shuttle Progam between Montreal and Bagotville QC
2005 – Receive FBO accreditation
- Launch of first commuter airline service with an Embraer 120 Turboprop
- Initial approval of our Safety Management System
2007 – Major expansion of Managed Aircraft Program
2008 – Accredited as a Hawker Beechcraft Authorized Service Center for Hawker jets
2009 – Facility expansion and creation of a single Head Office/hangar complex
2010 – Embraer Authorized Service Center (ASC) for Phenom 100 & 300 series
- Join Signature Flight Support network, the largest FBO network in the world
2011 – Wings Magazine Survey names us Best FBO in Quebec and Canada
2012 – Win Wings Magazine’s Best FBO survey in Quebec and Canada for the 2nd consecutive year
- Finalize Managed Aircraft contracts to operate first wide-body Boeing 737 (Q1, 2013) and Hawker 4000
